Story of My Life in 10 Items or Less:
  1. I spent my childhood in Baguio City, a year in Australia, and the rest of my life residing south of Metro Manila.
  2. I was home-schooled until just before high school.
  3. I did theater as a kid until I was 17, and I found my passion for make-up through performing.
  4. I've been a professional makeup artist and hairstylist since 2011. I started when I was 17. No, I did not push through with a tertiary education.
  5. I was a: back-up singer; freelance writer; film and stage actress; (amateur) pastry chef.
  6. Nowadays, I: sing occasionally, write sparsely, and act rarely. I still bake though.
  7. Three most common people I'm compared to by other people: Alicia Silverstone, Leighton Meester, and Adele.
  8. In 2014, I decided to become a minimalist.
  9. As of today, I'm still trying to be a minimalist.
  10. I will always be a little bit fat.
Things That I Love in Bullet Points:
  • My crazy and ridiculous family.
  • My even crazier friends.
  • My cat.
  • Food. Almost any kind.
  • Moscato and Dulcetto.
  • SuperWhoLock. (Yeah I said it.)
  • Everything Geeky (SciFi, Anime, Fantasy, etc etc etc.)
  • Sleeping.
  • Road trips with amazing playlists.
  • Bonfires.
  • Downy AntiBac fabric conditioner- because I love it that much.
Why did I want to be a makeup artist?

Initially, I had no clue as to what I wanted to do with my life. So before I graduated high school, I decided to take a year off college. Partly as a sabbatical and partly because I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to take up anyway. At the time I was neck-deep in love with the theatre and I became very interested in stage makeup, so during my year off, I took a course at Makeup Design Academy. My life hasn't been the same since.

Most especially though, I love making people feel good about themselves, even if it's for one night only. I want to make people feel special on their most important moments. Which is why I became a make-up artist.

Why I created this website?

I made this at first to serve as an online portfolio. Which then branched out to reviews and tutorials. Although I have been very on-and-off with the blogging and updating since 2012. Hopefully this year on a new platform I will be able to maintain this site. Hopefully.

My goal with this website is to offer comprehensive and honest reviews of both local and international products available in the Philippines, ranging from inexpensive budget buys to luxury brand items. I also aim to create simple and easy-to-follow makeup and hair tutorials that everyone can follow.

I also want to blog about the goings-on around the south, review small businesses and restaurants, showcase getaways and other local highlights that the south can offer.
